Meeting 16th January

On our first meeting of 2019 we were all in good spirits after the Christmas and New Year
break.  Our chair DM steered us through the proceedings in his excellent relaxed manner.

Introductions were to the question: ‘Tell us about your New Year Resolutions’

A big welcome to our guest SS. We hope she enjoyed the evening and look forward to seeing her again. We also welcome DS as a new member to our club and wish her well
on her journey.

Meeting 5th December

On a typically wet and windy December evening our chair LG used the theme of
Advent and Christmas,  entertaining us with some amusing fill-in material.

Meeting 21st November

On a decidedly cold and wet November evening our chair CLW used the theme of
‘being cool’ and amused us with some amusing fill-in material as usual.

Meeting 10th October

Our multitasking chair CLW steered the meeting with effortless ease.
Humorous fill in material brought many a chortle.

SR used a theme of food asking members to pick a word from the Stetson including:

Meeting 29th August

Baby Please Don’t Go was the theme for our meeting last night. Our chair DM
steered us smoothly through yet another most pleasant evening in the Library.
His recent trip to N Ireland provided ample fill-in material.

We said goodbye to JT and wish him well at University but we also welcomed JW
who has joined NNSC.

Meeting 15th August

It was another mini-meeting in the Library last night with a small
but enthusiastic bunch of members eager to improve their speaking skills.
