Club Officers

A simplified guide as to the officers and their duties:

President  The president serves as the club’s chief executive officer, responsible for general supervision and operation of the club

Education Director  The education director is responsible for planning successful club meetings so that each member has the opportunity to achieve his or her
educational goals

Social Convener  The social convener’s duties include the greeting of guests and visitors at club meetings, contributing to club social media activity and arranging catering for club meetings and other social events including the annual club dinner

Public Relations  The vice president public relations officer’s duties include promotion of the club to local media and to promote newsletters and membership programmes

Secretary  The secretary’s duties outside of club meetings include keeping accurate membership rosters, handling club correspondence and files

Treasurer  The treasurer’s duties include preparation of a budget and collection of members subscriptions

Sergeant at Arms  The sergeant at arms’s duties include scheduling and booking of meeting location, and maintaining club equipment in working order
